Senectics Innovation Award
Since 2012 the Senectics Healthcare Group has honoured innovative institutes and companies in the fields of medical, pharmaceutical and bioenginieering technology with the „senectics Innovation Award“. In cooperation with NeZuMed and under the patronage of Klaus Holetschek, the Bavarian State Minister of Health and Care, the Seneticics Healthcare Group awarded the „senetics Innovation Award 2021“ and expressed their gratitude to the participants for their engagement in Europe and especially Germany as an innovative location. We are pleased, that our institute as part of the Department of Chemical- and Bioengineering has received this award in the category: „Level of innovation: Most innovative product or patent in the field of healthcare“ for our just recently developed healthcare robotics systems “MyoRobot” and “IsoStretcher”. Both innovative benchtop devices represent automated Opto-Biomechatronics solutions aiming to facilitate current and future research for functional and morphological diagnostics, ranging from single cells through 2D and 3D tissue culture and engineering. We believe this award will help to accelerate the translation of research findings into commercial application and provide the large community of Healthcare, Life Science and MedTech with our innovative technology in the near future.
